Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of the things you might like to know. If you’ve got other questions, please give us a call. We’ll be happy to help.

What’s the minimum (and maximum) level of service you provide?

We can do a one-off job providing a security driver for a single journey, right up to supplying a full protection team who will cover residential premises full-time as well as all the security travel required, year after year.

How does the process work?

Contact our security experts to tell us your private travel itinerary, and we’ll do a risk management assessment. We’ll identify threats and vulnerabilities and develop risk prevention strategies. If applicable, we’ll liaise with your existing security team to do so. We’ll then pull everything together to develop a plan of action and budget for your approval.

Once you’ve signed the contract, we’ll produce a travel pack showing the agenda, with all relevant details booked into the principal’s calendar and phone. Then our experts will provide the security service you’ve specified. We’ll also follow-up with you afterwards for a debrief / review.

What happens if things go wrong during a journey?

We’re trained in crisis management. Your security driver will anticipate any trouble and take steps to avoid it before it occurs. If an emergency does happen, the driver will react instantly get the passenger out of the situation.

Which countries do you cover?

The list is almost endless.

To give you an idea, in 2023, we transported clients in the UK, Ireland, Brussels, Paris, Zurich, Venice, Milan, Rome, Portugal, Greece, Morocco, Kenya, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, numerous locations in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, multiple locations in Japan, multiple locations in Brazil, Barbados, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Colombia and many locations in the United States.

Let us know where you need to travel and we’ll arrange secure transportation for you.

How soon should I book?

Our drivers are in high demand, so it’s best to give us as much notice as possible. But you’ll find we’re responsive, even at short notice, so give us a call anytime and we’ll advise how we can help.

What does it cost?

Every requirement is different. We’ll give you a quote in advance and keep you posted about any changes that arise while we’re working together.

How should I choose a security driving firm?

  • Check the company is registered in its home country (you can see our details at Companies House)
  • Visit the LinkedIn profiles of the directors so you can verify their credentials. For example, see Neil Davies OBE & Gary Fraser
  • Look at the company’s social media accounts to ensure they don’t accidentally reveal appropriate content such as visible firearms or client identities. Ours don’t (you can see our social media links in the footer)
  • Ask if they’ll sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). We do this as standard
  • Ensure their insurance is sufficient and up to date. Ours is
  • For the USA, check the provider or their sub-contractors are licensed to operate there. Ours are

What if I don’t use a trained security driver?

Using an untrained security driver is a false economy. There is a risk an untrained driver might:

  • Take a risky route through a dangerous environment
  • Get lost on their way to the destination
  • Lose track of their principal
  • Crash the vehicle
  • Lack the skills to react to an emergency
  • Get into a situation where their passenger is attacked
  • Behave aggressively and mishandle the situation
  • Cause reputational damage to your brand

Our security drivers are trained to avoid all those risks.

Can you supply a private jet?
