Meet the Team

Neil Davies OBE & Gary Fraser

Neil and Gary co-founded Secure Ground Transportation in 2007 because they saw a need in the market for a specialist service that unites safe and secure luxury bespoke transportation.

They were both trained by former members of the Special Escort Group (SEG) and each holds the highest IQ (Industry Qualification) in security driving, vehicle management and anti-hijack techniques, based on the Metropolitan Police Protection Driving Course. Both are members of the International Security Driving Association.

In addition, they have undertaken specialist training in Texas which was delivered by serving and former secret service agents.

Neil and Gary have been members of the Institute of Advanced Motorists (now called IAM Roadsmart) for over 20 years. Both hold the highest level of qualification. Constantly refreshing their skills, they have also undertaken a surveillance driving course with Optimal Risk.

They’re qualified to FREC3 – that’s the level 3 award in First Response Emergency Care. It’s a nationally recognised qualification that covers the full range of skills required by the British Health & Safety Executive (HSE) for workplace health, safety, welfare and first aid.

In 2007, Neil was honoured to be granted an OBE by HM Queen Elizabeth II for his services to education (this was in recognition of him being the National Chairman of School Governors. In America, these are known as School Boards).

We work with carefully selected associates around the world who will provide the same great service we do. We source them by doing rigorous due diligence with our contacts in the country we’re due to operate in.

Our number one requirement is reliability, so our clients can be confident they’ll safely get to where they’re supposed to be, in comfort and on time. We also need drivers who’ll communicate with the UK office so we can stay on top of any status updates, issues and holdups.
